31 August 2007, Celtel offers lifetime airtime bonus

Celtel Kenya customers can now enjoy a bonus on airtime for a lifetime , thanks to a new programme to reward current and potential customers currently using the Celtel network. Customers will also get up to 22% subsidy off the phone upfront.

Under the offer, Celtel customers will be entitled to airtime worth Kshs 100 every month for the first 12 calendar months after the purchase of any of the two stylish phones: The Nokia 1110i handset at Kshs 1,999 only or the Motorolla C118 at Kshs 1499 only. Both phones come with a free Celtel sim card.

The bonus amounts to a Kshs 100 every month if they continue using any of the phones on offer, and achieve minimum usage of Kshs 500 every calendar month. The offer is available to all Celtel prepaid customers regardless of their tariff plans.

Making the announcement, Mr. David Murray, the Celtel Kenya CEO said: “This campaign is aimed at rewarding our loyal customers. Customers like to keep upgrading their phones thus we’re availing them an opportunity while using the most reliable network in Kenya, Celtel.”
