Each call is charged differently
Originating a call while in a foreign country:
You will be charged the roaming partner's international roaming tariff and an administrative fee. This charge is basically defined by the relevant operator and NOT by Celtel. For more information regarding tariffs, please contact Postpaid Customer Care.
Receiving a call while in a foreign country:
Your caller will be charged the relevant local or international rate (depending on whether he is calling from or inside Kenya or abroad). You will be charged for the international part of the call from Kenya to the country off the Celtel Kenya network where you are roaming in.

How to save money while Roaming

There are a number of services available that will ensure that you get the maximum benefit from our Roaming Service at a cost that you are comfortable with. You may bar all incoming calls while roaming. You may divert all calls to your voicemail and retrieve your messages when you get back home and finally, save money by using SMS (Short Message Service) while roaming.Contact our Customer Care team for more information.
